Perinatal Wellness

Natural health, herbal medicine, science based

As a perinatal wellness professional, I hold one-on-one consultations with pregnant and postpartum clients interested in improving their health. I guide families in creating an individualized wellness plan utilizing nutrition, daily routines, diet, stress management, movement, etc.

A bit about my practice-

Health coaching

What are your health goals? I approach pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding holistically by incorporating all areas of wellness: physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. I can partner with you as you create clear, specific objectives and support you on your journey towards your goals.

Nutrition

Nutrition is often lacking in today’s standard diet. As a perinatal coach, I address common pregnancy and postpartum concerns, as well as more complicated health issues. I can suggest practical ideas and simple steps you can take to increase nutrition during a time when vitamins, minerals, and nourishment are essential.

Herbal support

Herbs have been used for thousands of years for nutritional and medicinal purposes. Many herbs are both safe and beneficial during the perinatal period. Herbs can be used to support mood, immunity, milk supply, common ailments, and much more. Herbs can be used in teas, balms, salves, tinctures, poultices, and baths.

Evidence-based

The US has the highest infant mortality rate of any first world country and maternal mortality/morbidity is skyrocketing. There are countless disparities in our health care system. It is time for change. By forming a wellness plan based in scientific practices and research studies, my hope is for you to feel confident and empowered.

Pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum are normal and natural events— time periods that do not need to be managed with unnecessary medical interventions.

It’s time to reclaim your health!
